Gokarna & the Konkan coast
Cliff-top beach treks, a temple town with old-world charm and sunsets your group chat would have argued about.
The Goa plan, finally — just quieter, and actually happening.
Gokarna is what you hoped that college Goa trip would be: crescent beaches linked by cliff paths, shacks that serve fish caught that morning and a temple town that runs on its own clock. No polls, no “who’s driving?”, no cousin’s friend’s itinerary. Just the coast, finally.
- You had a Goa plan in 2009 and it’s still pending
- You want beach without the bass drop
- Sunsets are your love language
A sneak peek
Day by day
Every day has built-in rest. Timings bend for weather and moods; sunsets don’t.
- Day 01
Arrive and exhale
Pick-up from Goa airport (about 3 hours) or Gokarna Road station. Check in to a cliff-top stay and walk down for your first sunset.
- Day 02
The beach trek
A morning trek along the cliffs linking Kudle, Om, Half Moon and Paradise beaches, with swims in between. Lunch at a shack and a boat ride back.
- Day 03
Temple town and an old fort
Morning in Gokarna town: the Mahabaleshwar temple and the old car street. Afternoon at the moss-covered Mirjan Fort, then a sunset kayak through the mangroves.
- Day 04
Yana’s black rocks
A day trip to the striking limestone pinnacles at Yana, with a short forest walk. Evening: farewell seafood dinner by the sea.
- Day 05
Departure
One last swim if you’re quick, then breakfast and drop to Goa airport or the station.

Your trip lead
A Pravaa trip lead travels with the group from pick-up to drop: local, unflappable, and suspiciously good at finding the best chai on the route.
